I have been asked a lot of times why I became a plastic surgeon. For many reasons. First of all, there are doctors in my family. So it was given that after my brother I will follow my father and become a surgeon. Furthermore, I wanted to be a plastic surgeon because I have been interested in fashion, beautiful looks, nice appearance since my young days.

So quite unambiguously I chose the aesthetic side of surgery and visited private clinics during my university years.

I graduated in 1996. After graduation I went to the general surgery department of Ferenc Jahn Hospital, where I did, of course, several abdominal and vascular operations. I took my specialist examination from general surgery in 2001. During these years I also worked at several private clinics as an assistant.

After I started my plastic surgery studies. First, I was working at the Burn and Plastic Surgery Department of István Hospital for one year where I participated in the conservative and operational treatment of burns and I did reconstruction and aesthetic plastic surgery operations. I went for another one year training to the Plastic Surgery Department of Erzsébet Hospital. I passed my plastic surgery specialist examination in 2004. My dream for which I had been waiting for 10 years became true.

During my studies and after it I participated in several plastic surgery extension trainings and conferences abroad.

After my specialist examination I was admitted to the Plastic Surgery Department of Erzsébet Hospital and Kontour Clinic where I worked until the beginning of 2005. Then I was invited to a private clinic in Buda where I have already been working for 2 years.

During my career I had plenty of joyful and difficult moments but I am sure that if I could restart it I would definitely be a plastic surgeon again. I adore my job, the challenges every day, the results achieved and the positive feedbacks.

I am grateful to my plastic surgeon colleagues for teaching me the crafts of the trade to which the technical procedures learnt abroad can be added. All these helped me do my work the most conscientiously.
