BACKGROUND
Zsolt Krasznai was born on June 27, 1972, in Budapest, the elder of a pair of twins. He graduated from Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest in 1996, specialized in surgery, and qualified in 2001. After his surgical internship, he enrolled in the plastic surgery residency program and qualified as a plastic (burns) surgeon in 2004. After the specialist examination, he was admitted to the Department of Plastic Surgery at Erzsébet Hospital in Budapest, where he also became a doctor in the private clinic within the hospital. In early 2006, he founded hisown private clinic, For Beauty Plastic Surgery, in Buda.

In 2007, Krasznai completed a two-month internship at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Clinic, where he gained insight into the surgical practice of distinguished internationally renowned specialists. He says this was an important and unique experience that is given to very few plastic surgeons. In 2015, Krasznai's private clinic moved to a newly built, purpose-built healthcare facility in beautiful Buda, where patients can enjoy the same high level of professionalism they are used to in a luxurious environment.
WHAT RESULTS ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
Apart from my professional successes, I am most proud of my wife and son. My parents gave me the love of work and family values as my most important guiding principles, which still guide me to this day. For that, I am immensely grateful. As a young professional, I also strived to be independent, and my main goal was to establish a private clinic where my patients would receive the same quality of care, both human and professional, as in a renowned American private clinic. This idea was further strengthened during my studies in Los Angeles. So, one of my biggest dreams came true with the opening of For Beauty Esthetic Center. I am also proud of the fact that I am able to work tirelessly with my colleagues to ensure the highest professional quality to my clients at all times.
WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO HEALTHCARE AS A PROFESSION?
In addition to the importance of family values, my parents instilled in me a professional dedication and desire to help from a young age. My mother (as a dermatologist) and my father (as a surgeon) set an excellent example for my siblings and me. Following my father's work, I chose surgery as my first specialization. Subsequently, the desire for beauty and perfection led me to plastic surgery.
HOW DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR SPECIALTY AREA?
Beauty, a refined overall self-image, and self-confidence all play an important role in my life. Often it is just a small refinement that separates someone from healthy self-acceptance. My goal is to help those who come to me to the highest possible standard. My passion for fashion and modern surgery continually pushes me to be a pioneer in my field and a leading figure in the profession.
WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH ENVIRONMENT IN HUNGARY?
Fortunately, Hungarian medicine and its education can stand its ground in any country or continent in terms of professional knowledge. This is thanks to my excellent medical colleagues, each in his or her own field. As in any profession, it is important to learn and pass on techniques that have been tried and tested, and perfected over the years. We must also strive for continuous improvement. In the 21st century, constant change is driving the rapid development of technology. It is important to keep abreast of them and incorporate them into our existing knowledge base.
